We are delighted that Allison Thornton will be a guest speaker at our next Advocacy Committee meeting, which will be held in the evening on Monday, February 11th.

We are inviting all Club members to hear Allison at this special Advocacy Committee meeting.

Allison Thornton currently represents the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) in the Ashley Smith Inquest and recently represented the CCLA at the Supreme Court of Canada in the Etobicoke Centre election challenge.

In addition to a traditional commercial litigation practice, Allison has advocated on behalf of First Nations clients and has a professional and academic interest in constitutional law.
